I love the modification on that old P-bass.
Triple pickup setup,....very Fender URGE.
You might want look into a Hipshot Kickass bridge with side-to-side adjustment saddles to insure that the strings are centered correctly over the pole pieces for all three pickups. The Hipshot already looks very similar to the current bridge that is on it. The Hipshot will help your bass to look more set-up correct and might even play better with the correct spacing. You'll be able to move the 'D' and 'G' string down a few millimeters.

I have all my basses an arm's length away on a Strich wall rack in my office, and I just plug them in to my trusty ~45-year-old Polytone MiniBrute III combo amp when I'm practicing at home.

Just bought a Joyo BA-30 Vibe Cube for practice.

Bluetooth in from phone or laptop for play along tracks.
Grado open back headphones for quiet time.
Joyo wireless instead of a normal cord for one less tangle.
The speaker sounds decent at low volume , and it sits on my desk with very small footprint , and it is lightweight.

Before this I had a Roland Micro bass cube, but I sold it after the rotary switch broke.

Since then I had been using a GK MB150s or a Zoom B3 as an interface into GarageBand.

The B3 is suprisingly handy. I wish it had aux in, but I need a source for play along tracks anyways and it gets power via usb so that simplifies that part a little.

my Korg Bass Pandora, Boss CS-3 pedal, and my Harley Benton Bass D.I. Expander pre-amp, and some Audio-Technica headphones. The AUX on the Korg is connected to my Samsung phone to jam along to tracks on YouTube.

I use everything from my concert gear, small gig gear, to my Digitech BR 355 effects pedal.

I've been playing my Rumble 25 heavily overdriven in the house as a quaint substitute for the mesa d180 through two orange 115s.
The little fender amp has taken some serious abuse with the L2000, but it just keeps on going, not bad for a music store demo amp.

Rumble 25 for me too, but most of the time I'm using a Vox amplug and cheap Grado headphones, with aux in from the phone or laptop if I need to play along to learn something new.
