What Guitars are your Guitarist using?

Let's see...first show he played an Ibanez Destroyer
2nd show: Gibson Standard Les Paul
3rd Show: Epi SG

He doesn't actually own any of those. Just borrowed from friends. He owns a Cort strat knockoff but it sounds just great

90s Fat strat with the discontinued white body/tortous pg combo. Locking roller nut, trem, etc. He has a monster pedalboard, can't keep everything straight there.
our singer plays an Epi Les Paul

my brother plays an American tele that was actually made the year he was born... so that's pretty cool.

I would get a 72 tele with the humbuckers.

Well, my two friends that I've been jamming with play through these...

Ones got a A Red Squire Strat modded with EMG's and black hardware with a black pickguard and a Marshall 30 watt, he usually runs clean, but occasionally he uses a Whammy IV, Boss TR2 and a Boss DS-1 (which used to be mine). The other has a Green MIM Strat with a Seymour Duncan Bridge pup and A peizo tremelo bridge through a Big Muff, a Holy Grail and a Crybaby through to a VOX amp, I forget which model though...

Both guitars sound awesome, but I think the Squire sounds a tad bit better.

In one band our guitarist's main instrument is a Warmoth strat...the followups are an MIA strat and a MIM strat both with custom Callaham parts.

In my other band, the guitarist plays a full-hollowbody PRS (with f-holes)...he occasionally also plays my custom repro 64 Telecaster.

One was bought while the other was being worked on. Apparently it was taking to long, so hey!!! Let's buy another!!
Someone needs to drag this over to the "What's the best excuse to get that new bass?" thread. :)

'rick

P.S. Strat with an extra tuner hole in the headstock (long story).
(This guy. He's WAY better than these recordings imply.)

Rythym guitarist:
Rickenbacker 320
Epiphone acoustic
Epiphone Casino
Phantom Brian Jones Teardrop

Lead guitarist:
Rickenbacker 12-string
Gretsch Country Gentleman
Epiphone Casino
Fender Strat
Danelectro
Ampeg lucite

Vox amps

Lead guitar:
Schecter S-1 Elite(like a double cut LP, kinda)
197-something Gibson SG custom. Oddly enough, it sits in its case most days. He just doens't like it.
Blue Voodoo halfstack
Martin all-mahogony acoustic

Rhythm:
MIM strat, cream colored.
Marshall Triple Super Lead halfstack.
Taylor acoustic.

I'm flying solo now since I just moved, but I can tell you what I have: PRS Modern Eagle slate,PRS Custom 22 20th Aniv. gray/black, Gibson Les Paul Studio wine red, Fender Deluxe Americn Strat red w/black pickguard and pups. MIM Strat w/ SD JB Jr Rails black and white, and a Martin D-16.
I paled guitar for many years before I picked up the bass. I play more bass now.
