What Guitars are your Guitarist using?

R+B and oldies cover band. Guitar player has a new Variax Line 6 that is pretty cool. The sounds aren't 100% on the mark-you'd never fool someone on a critical recording, but for a bar band it works better than it needs to. He also has an old Strat that has been with him for 25 year. It's there as a back-up and I've never heard it.
'77 Gibson Les Paul Custom, which he bought brand new back in '77.
He also has a '74 Les Paul Deluxe in a cherry sparkle finish that he bought brand new...but that one doesn't leave the house much.

Anderson guitar through a Dr. Z amp; also has a Bogner rig (100-watt head and 412 cab). Runs the Anderson through a pedal board that is the envy of all the space shuttle pilots.
Oh, yeah: he just got a Godin, which he plans to use to trigger a synth module. (Guess he'll be stomping that with his other foot...

One guy plays ~1992 PRS electric & Ovation acoustic.
The other plays a few Telecaster's and also Mandolin & Banjo. Not sure of brands of those.

My lead guy plays a late 70's BC Rich Mockingbird. Curly maple color. Bought it new way back when. He's seen the prices they go for on Ebay, and he never lets it out of his sight.

Sounds like the same amp my guitar player with the PRS plays. About 20 years old, very small, loud as hell, and sounds fantastic. It's all about the 6L6 tubes. He thought it was old until he saw my main gigging amp, my '67 Bassman blackface.Indi86 said:

Mine plays two that are his, and occasionally some of my guitars as well, although not at the same time.
His: '90 MIA Tele and '92 Ovation Elite-bith bone stock
Mine '89 or so MIJ Strat with Lace sensors and custom switching and '00 or so MIK Hamer Studio Archtop with TonePros hardware and WCR 'Goodwoods' pickups- My Hamer is a Les Paul slayer.
