That sounds like SW Louisiana. Schools close is there is a chance of snow. Everything closes if there is snow.
Well, I got logged out of TalkBass for about the 700th time this year.
Seriously, why do I have to log back in seemingly half the time I'm submitting a reply? What is causing my log-in to be dropped every few minutes?

The exact same thing happened to me...it went on for Months!

Be careful, the combination of alcohol and acetaminophen can lead to liver failure!
While there is definite truth to that statement, it takes a while to get there unless you really overdo it hard with both. As with everything, edumakashun and moderation will keep you safe

Got snowed.
Measured 8" at 1pm. Same spot, I now measure 6" - it's compacting - going to be a helluva shovel.

I just I left work an hour ago and didn't even have the slightest feeling that I need to go to the restroom. In Los Angeles the traffic is really really bad and I was getting on the freeway and the need to take a crap. Hit me hard. As in clench your butt cheeks hard. I was squeezing over and over for the last 20 minutes as it comes in waves. I was stuck and there was no where to get off and I was rapidly losing control. I finally got to an off-ramp but by that time it was practically too late. I pulled down a small Street and found the quietest place I could and dropped my shorts and exploded everywhere. I had to drop my shorts there, luckily I had an extra pair in my car. When you got to go you got to go, this really really sucks and now I'm going to be late to band practice cuz I got to go home and shower first. Man this is terrible. I'm lucky I made it that far, I was going to pull to the side of the freeway with all of these cars put both doors open and try to squeeze between the doors and let it out, but I thought I'd be too dangerous if a policeman comes by. And I had last eaten 5 hours ago, no indication at all, just all of a sudden.

That happened to us...musta been 25 years ago. I can still remember how mad/sad I was.
