The only differences between a Fodera and a Squier are pickups, tuners, bridge, fretboard wood, body wood, top wood, electronics, strap pins, nut, the way the neck is attached, where they are made, customer service, and customizability. Beside that, same thing.

I own both in any case.

I learned that the Technicalitarians (I made that up because I don't know what else to call them, you know who you are) can turn any thread into a scientific battle.

And, all bass solos will clear a bar in record time. Tonight I heard a bass solo. And as I ran for the front door in a panic, with an overwhelming fear of being trampled, I noticed no one was leaving.

Did we get:
If it sounds good, it is good. EWIIn't. (except when it isn't).

Fancy caps/pots/cloth covered wire don't make a difference in tone. EWID (does).

If the audience can't tell the difference between your bass/rig and a 2x4 with weedwacker wire DI'd with a tin can phone, your gear choices don't matter. EWID.

Guitar Center sucks. EWIDn't.

It's never OK to ask about Tim Commerford's sound. I don't think that's ever not the case.
