I remember one year, back in the late 80's, Chicago had both the NAMM convention and the 'Nam convention at the same time (Vietnam Veterans). I think some of the vets found it a little annoying, all these young dudes going around talking bout "Nam".

I'm an Ibanez fanboy, so let's get that out of the way.

I want that hollow body 5 string do you know the price of that?

I saw the Gittler booth, and I wanted to check out their bass. They were really trying to get this one guy to check it out, and seemed annoyed that I wanted to get a pic of the bass.

Next thing I know a crowd is forming around this guy...I think it's Billy Sheehan. He's trying to play the bass, but it doesn't seem comfortable. They put the plastic backing on it, and that seemed better. I tried it after he was done. It was different. I didn't really like the feel of it, but I love the concept.
It turns out that I am going to be going back tomorrow (I thought my ride was leaving early tomorrow, but he's not).
If there's anything you guys want me to get a pic of (it may be crappy, bu I'll try), just let me know.
are those semi hollows 34 inch scale?

Did you happen to notice a price on the prestige Talman basses? Haven't seen it posted anywhere. Were you able to play them? Or the new Artcores? Thanks!

Yeah, it's wild to see him play in person - and on our basses to boot. He's been humbled by the number of very good players who are huge fans of his. Look forward to meeting you.REMCO!!!!!! I am there!
