What, if any, is yer back-up FX(s)

I don't bring any backup effects units to a gig since each individual effect isn't so vital that I would be severely impacted if it went down, and I can use other effects to cover more important ones to some degree (e.g. turn up the gain on the overdrive/dist if the fuzz stops working). In theory I could build more patches on my HX One to replicate some other pedals in a pinch, but I also like to keep my number of active patches low to make cycling through them more dummy proof live.

I do pack backup power and cables, and since I'm now using a pedal as my preamp/DI (Mesa Subway DI, running from the pedalboard to a rack power amp), I will probably bring my Class D head to some gigs as a backup preamp/DI as well as just general backup amp head.

When we are running our own sound there is a spare channel on the mixer that has an in built amp sim set up.

I have something similar on my Soundcraft Ui-16, although I've only played around with it. It sounds OK.

I use multi-FX. It's not outrageously expensive to have two B3n.

Works as a DI with eq and amp sim, iem mixer, tuner and clean is just a nice solid DI.

Also not for the gig but works as a Bluetooth practice tool, audio interface, 2 channel mixer and practice tool for 2 people.
