Those old Eden amps were amazing. I didn't really understand the parametric…but the amps sounded amazing flat. That was the first amp I played (WT550) that didn't need some significant tweaking. A few years back I bought a simplified WT390, partially out of nostalgia and partially because it's still an awesome amp!I miss my David Eden WT400+. It's probably just nostalgia, but that amp just sounded wonderful.
I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on one of those…or an 800+! I did just buy an Aguilar DB 751 though…which cost a pretty penny.
How long have you had the TT 800? How would you describe the 2 preamp sections?
My only wish is that I would have picked up a 370 head when I could carry the gear. A friend of mine ran the same cab with the 370 and it seemed to have a little more bottom end than my 320. Loved the 320s channel switching.I am old. Back in the day, the Acoustic 220 with the 402 cab was so much better than anything I'd ever heard when I got it. Will always love that amp.
