What is the best self defense product?

Not to mention they are hilariously amusing.

"Somebody tells ME that about my wife, sorry sir, but I'm gonna break your leg."

"DANGITY DANGITY DANG, SMACK HIS FACE"

I love Bas Rutten.

haha, yup :p, BUNG! Headbutt out of nothing :P!

i practice martial arts and hes one of my idols. the techniques shown in that video are very practical and easy to use. Less flashy then most martial art moves but they work much better.

Just keep one of these in your pocket:

"But...it's only a RABBIT!"

"Aye, 'tis a death for only the noble and brave, with gnashing teeth and claws...ngye, ngye!! "

"Run away! Run away!"

How about one of these guys. Kinda like a folding sword!! I've got 2. Just need to find a pair of cargo pants with a big enough pocket to carry them in. The guy who designed these must have some kind of complex ;) ....or be 8 feet tall.

They're not really that big....close though.

I actually carry a 2x4 with a couple of rusty nails in it in a custom made quick release holster. Light it on fire for better effect at night.

I have one of these, and they fit into the pocket extremely well, despite their size. It's a crying shame I can't carry one here - great steel, holds an awesome edge...

BTW - I carried mine perfectly comfortably in jeans.

Awareness of one's surroundings is seriously the best self-protection.
All the badass moves or cool weapons won't do squat if you're half crocked, looking at the ground and listening to your iPod.

beyond that - asking about self protection on a bass forum is a bit like asking about bass recommendations on a self-protection forum.
Or like dancing about architecture.

Only Chicago, not the rest of Illinois.

You are mistaken sir, there is NO concealed carry for citizens of Illinois. One of 2 states without such ability (the other is Wisconsin).

I have a non-resident Florida CCW permit. It allows me to carry in 28 states, including our surrounding states of Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. But, when I cross that state line into Illinois, I'm an unruly peasant and can't be trusted.
