What is the best self defense product?

I actually defended myself from a mugging at gunpoint by using an umbrella once. Longish story, but I used the umbrella to confuse and distract the attackers, then I ran as fast as I could while they were talking to each other. You never know what will come in handy.

I'd rather have a shoe with a built in phone like Maxwell Smart. That way, when your laying in the alley with the **** kicked out of you....... you could call the ambulance. :)

well since Captain Buzzkill showed up and ruined the party

the unfortunate of you living in Illinois, laws here say you cant carry firearms. That would have been my suggestion if you lived anywhere else

pepper spray doesn't work on drunks or junkies. Especially if they're on PCP, Meth, or Cocaine (crack or powder). All it does is piss them off. I find avoiding trouble to be most effective. A large, loud dog works well at home and just in case, I carry a .45 on the street and have a shotgun in the house that I can get to pretty quickly.

A hammerless snub-nose 357. She can carry it in her purse, and if need be, she can fire the weapon through her cad door.

Forget mase, tazers, and martial arts. I was trained to box and kick box. I'm not taking the time to kick your butt. I'll pull the trigger once.
