What is the heaviest music you know of?

it's funny that The dillinger escape plan gets mentioned so many times while they play in standard tuning (E)!
They said in a interview that they refused to tune down because they didn't want to sound like nu-metal :)
 
lightning bolt. there's screamier, and there's more abrasive, but for my money none's heavier.

bass/drum duo. plus, the bass player has a crazy setup. he uses a stingray (tuned CGDA i believe) with the bottom strings using bass strings, and the top string or two using guitar (or banjo, i forget) strings. and let's not forget the massive distortion etc.

this one really kicks in at 0:56 13 monsters
