This is a cheap 2x15 but I have no clue what it is. I've searched the product it's listed as but the only thing that it leads to is back to their website. I can't find a "Peavey DEL 215" on any other website

for $100 you cant go wrong. vintage peavey sounds great. They might even have black widows in them, which are $100+ a peice

Yeah , it's an older Peavey 2 15. I have two of them. Both are 4 ohm cabs. Mine originally came with the square back magnet speakers (don't remember the brand name)and sounded fine. Plenty loud and a pretty good tone. I came into a couple of old Scorpion speakers and tossed them into one of the cabs. Best sounding cab I own next to my 8 10's. Blows any 4 10 or 2 15 I have ever owned out the door. For a hundred bucks , if both speakers work , you can't go wrong.

I had one of those sitting in my basement unused for 20 years.
Coincidentally, I sold it for $100 two years ago.
It was also a 4 ohm cab and was pretty loud.
I should have kept it to compete with the death metal dudes that live next door.
But I moved on. No going back now but it shook my house really good.

Everyone's right-- that's a Peavey 215. Nevermind the DEL reference. I used to have one of these with a Mark IV head and I NEVER had any problem being heard anywhere we played. Kind of like having a diesel truck. Confidence in the tools you're using!

That is a snag for $100!

Yep 215 Peavey. I used to use one of those ba k in the day. I ordered it with Black Widows in it. Great cab! Like others have said, heavy though! 100 bucks is a great deal!

Yup , they made one that was about 13"deep and one that was about 18" deep. Mine are both the 13 inchers. I don't think I have ever had a chance to play one of the 18" ones so I couldn't tell you whether or not there was much tone difference between them. I think I have seen a couple of threads where some folks preferred the 18" ones but like I said before , my 13" one with the Scorpions sounds fantastic and the one with the stock speakers sounds darn good.

Pierce_co, welcome to the forum.
As you're only 17 you have to get it. It will keep you in shape for years and you'll have the usual stories of schlepping that beast up and down fire escapes, ruining the back seat of your Moms car and shaking the pictures off the neighbors walls.
Owning a Peavey is sort of a right of passage. Most of us had one, wished we owned an SVT at the time but get all nostalgic about them years later.
Consider it a free rental as you'll get the $100.00 back on resale for years to come.

It's a very loud Peavey cabinet is what it is. I think I borrowed one of these from a friend's neighbor long ago and nearly blew out my bedroom windows with the volume on 3 from a matching Peavey head.
