Does any one know what this is. Searches reveal nothing. There is a deal on cl.

I'm going to guess that someone took a cheap bass, probably MIC or maybe one of those kits you can buy on eBay, finished the headstock and put their own decal on it. Appears to say "Tension" in something similar to the Fender font.

Could be some little known brand but I'm guessing homemade.

Is the price right or suspicious?
Do you like to gamble on what might be a Squier or something similar?

I just asked him what shop built it. He says it not a fender body. He is asking $300 for the bass and a peg cL Nicole stack

Yeah, unless the bass total crap, 300 bucks is a nice deal for an amp and bass.

That's what I was thinking. I wouldn't pay $50 for that bass, but as that Ampeg Micro is included in the deal, the bass is pretty much free.

Ya I need a bass first and foremost. Starting to play again after 20 years. The amp in not as important. I would not want to amplify my current ability hahaha

could be, but probably more $225-240ish range … they sell new with shipping incl. for $349 online, and Pro Audio Star had them as refurbs for $260ish shipping included (50 lbs) … in any case, worth a trip to try out for OP … bass might be a sleeper, call it educational if it doesn't work out …

Judging from the $20 pickups, that bass has been slapped together on the cheap. You really have 2 smart options:

• Buy the bass and Ampeg stack for $250 (seller is asking $300, he'll take $250), sell the stack on ebay for as close to $250 as you can get. Now you have a free bass.
• Forget the whole thing and buy a used, name-brand bass from Guitar Center. There is some really nice stuff on there for under $200.
