Neotech Mega Bass Strap

+1 on the neotech. I've tried lots and besides being a good bang for the buck, it's comfy and I don't know how long they are supposed to last, but don't fear the neoprene (or whatever they're made from). Mine's 6 years and shows no signs of breaking down.

Comfort Straps at home, practice, and backup at gigs. At gigs, on my main player I have a very nice all leather 3 1/2" wide custom made leather strap, but still prefer the Comfort Straps, been using them 15 or more years (however long they've been in production) still have my originals, they've held up incredibly well!

I used 3 1/2" instead of 4" on my custom because my 4" Levy straps dig into my neck, the 3 1/2 doesn't.

Levy M4 Genuine Leather, MS4 Suede, or MG4 Garment Leather. Always comfortable. I prefer garment leather, but any of the material options work fine. I typically have one to complement the color of each bass.

...and it lives up to its name; it's also very Comfort-able. About 8 or 10 years ago I switched all my basses over to Comfort Strapps and I couldn't be happier.

I use straps by GuitStrapped. Expensive, and the guy who makes them names them with goofy names, but fantastically comfortable. They're 4 1/2" wide, with real lamb's wool underneath.
The strap that was stolen is the "Maltese Mad Hatter", you can see it on "Hall Of Fame" on his website. The strap I still use to this day is called "Agressor", you can see on "Portfolio I".
That said, I have to say the MONO Betty looks pretty good, and cheaper.

I like a wide strap, I prefer leather, Levy makes one that's perfect for me.

Moody 4" leather-backed for me. Here and there I've tried Italia 4", Pete Schmidt 3.5", and Franklin 3"; they are nice, too.

For non-leather, the Neotech 3.5" super bass strap is my favorite. I've had mine for 10 years now.

A three inch padded leather Levy's is what floats my (heavy) bass.

Ironically the cheapest nylon seatbelt style strap. I need it to be smooth and friction free so it slides. If it’s leather or padded and fixed in place it’ll cripple me after an hour or so of play.

Lots of positive reviews on Amazon. I have a couple of Comfort strapps and I like them but I still get pain in my shoulder after a few hours.

Another vote for the Mono Betty here. Very comfortable and not too expensive. I get the long strap - I play rock music, no bass will be slung above my beltline
