Four inch wide leather Italia Leathers strap. Makes easy work of my three weighty basses...
Same. And you only need to buy once: I have two I bought 15+ years ago and, other than breaking in, still as good as new (with plenty of use).
Agreed, I’ve got one for each bass that I got a decade ago. All still pristine! Great quality.

The Mono Betty is great and All I use.
I don't have one for every bass but I think I have 10 of them.
+1 on the 4" Italia Leathers straps. I've got two and they are still like new after a few years of use.
One of them did need some time to break in and loosen up, but the other was ready to go out of the package.

Personal taste but I really prefer these to the synthetic alternatives. Added bonus is the suede backing grips to a degree. The combination of the width and the suede resolves any "neck dive" issues with neck heavy basses (IMO.IME, etc...)
I love the 3" wide Glove Leather strap from Franklin Strap. A bit pricey but it is very comfortable and controls neck dive. 
For heavy basses I like the wide padded Levi’s straps which are expensive but a big help for heavy basses.
for light basses I like dimarzio clip lock straps which are relatively cheap but I like the material, it’s more like seat belt material than the typical straps you can find for $20 or less.

I have two of these in black bought brand new last year. Great strap, but I find the 4" a bit too wide. Thinking about selling them both.

THIS ^^^ I've got Franklins on my P-Basses (two of which are Tony Franklin sigs...so that works out)...crazy comfortable
I like 2.5 inch leather straps. Italia is nice and Levy also. Any decent quality 2.5 inch strap is good.
I tried the 4 inch leather straps and they do distribute weight in an excellent manner but for me, that is just too much leather covering my shoulder and aesthetically it doesn't look correct.

+1 No shoulder fatigue even with an 11lb bass
I'm using more than year, yes it is very wide but it is most comfortable straps for me(IME), i have 2" and 3" straps without pads. This is my number one. my strap journey ended after buying this.
