Yeah we do. They are easier to rope and not as fast as doggies.

I grew up with labs, and still love them, so generally speaking they would probably be my favorite.

However, we're not sure what mix our dog Peaches is, but currently she is definitely my favorite! No other dog even comes close.

Here she is guarding her toys:

I really like Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, "Wheatens".

We currently have a six year old named Daisy that we rescued in March. (This picture was taken minutes after meeting her.

We rescued our previous Wheaten, Bridget when she was five. She passed away this past December, a couple of months shy of her fourteenth birthday. (I filled out the adoption application for Daisy on what would have been Bridget's fourteenth birthday.) Here is a picture of Bridget from a couple of years ago. We marched in the St. Patrick's Day parade every year. Wheatens are an Irish breed.

I adopted both of them through a national organization called "Wheatens in Need." I've helped transport dogs a couple of times and fostered one for a few months. It's a great group.

If you want to know your dogs genetic makeup you can have the vet draw blood and send it out for a DNA test. In a couple of weeks they email you the lab results.
Sometimes it is good to know so you can look out for certain heath issues that are known with certain breeds. I think the cost is around $100. Btw, nice looking dog.
