Ha! You haven't seen bad graphics until you've seen Night Driver for Atari 2600:

Never been so disappointed with a purchase before or since. Mainly because they marketed it like this:

Slight difference....... of course, this was 1976.......

Every couple weeks we get a few people together and play Capcom Gold Medal Challenge '92 so I'd have to say its one of my favorites along with Marble Madness

because we have no real way of making it seem like it's daytime anyway with those graphics so... night it is.


I played Enduro Racer, similar, but with alternating weather and daytimes. I mean...day was i think like a blue background maybe?

I had forgotten how good the artwork for game cartridges were in the early days of home consoles -- in absolute misrepresentation of the actual gameplay and graphics themselves.

I think my favourite old video games would be on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), both Streets of Rage 2 and Toe Jam & Earl
I couldn't get enough of those games, even better with a friend!
I still fire up Streets every so often on the Xbox sega collection, just for nostalgia.
