What is your "giant killer" bass?....

My Hammersmith 5 string hands down. I've owned Mike Lull and several other incredibly well built instruments. But this bass felt like home the moment I first took it out of the box. It has a Nordy P bass pickup at he neck and a Duncan NYC 5 at the bridge. Volume and tone. 3 way selector for neck/both/bridge. 3 way selector for series/inner coil single/parallel. It's a passive beast that nails a classic P bass and so much more. But the neck....
I just feels like I've done hundreds of gigs on it. I'm sure the matte black will look dated one day. But, for now, it looks great on stage.
(I really rarely wrap my thumb around the neck. It's kind of funny that all three if these pics show me doing that. Ha!)

No pic by itself. Yamaha BB300. Back when I only had two basses, I would pick for gigs between the Yammy and the Rick based on which bass had the newest strings.
My Spector NS-2000/5 DB. One of the best basses I've ever owned, fit and finish-wise. Tone for days.
'Twas my first, and of all my "ones-that-got-away" it's the one I most want back.

My '79 Yamaha BB1200, my first "decent" bass, bought in 1983, it was my main bass guitar for 20 years or so. I sold it last year, too many basses and not enough time.
My Epiphone Embassy IV is one I chose often as my got to if I need to bring just one bass for a gig

Cool to see all the love for Peavey in this thread. My first bass was a Foundation, I don't know what happened to it over the years but a total giant killer.
My T40's used to be giant killers till everybody got hip to them and they are now, if not giants, at least extremely large mammals.
Another vote for the American-made Peaveys. All three of mine are awesome basses. Two 1987 Foundations and the 1992 Fury has DiMarzio Model P pickups now, making it sound even better and a killer P bass.
This bass was built from parts. I stained and finished the body myself. Used parts from other basses.

Bolt on neck has steel inserts to couple the neck to the body better.
This thing absolutely slays. It's heavy as hell...but it sounds great.
My cheapest but it ain’t ugly,my Squier CV, it hangs right in there with my Lakland Skyline D Dunn, Fender Roadworn Jazz and my Nate Mendel P !!
Which Peavey is that? Is it a short scale? Also, how much does it weigh, approximately?
That is a T45, it is 34" scale.
Some T45s are heavy and some are medium weight, none are light.
