What is your "gift" as a player.

If you had to name your strong point as a bassist, what would it be? (eg. tone, time, feel, technique, etc.) Some that I play with say that I have good "feel". I don't know what this means because I just try to "feel it", so there you go.

I can keep the rhythm going on if the drummer messes up -even when I'm singing. Reason is I had to lead in a band with two guitars and no drummer at all for a year.

I'd have to say my tone (sound) and feel. I like to stick to my roots if you now what I mean.

A good ear and ability to reproduce whatever tone and playing style I need to get to make a song sound like it was done by the original bassist.
