it's been ridiculously long since I've listened to any album/CD all the way through. I guess my iPod/iPhone have spoiled me that way. and frankly, I guess I've always had a touch of ADD. even BITD - long-long ago, I would skip around. tho it was more difficult when I played vinyl on an actual turntable. remember those? As soon as cassette tape became popular I started making mix tapes & never looked back.

So I see two people mention Wilco, and both mention Sky Blue Sky which is interesting. I would say definitely Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and maybe (or probably IMO) Summerteeth.

Love them both as well. But Sky Blue Sky is the album I continuously start with when I want some Wilco. Nils Cline's playing on the whole album is captivating.
