What kind of strings do you use?

I use the Rotosound Swing Bass RS 66LD set on my MIA Fender P-bass. Right now I am playing/practicing with 2 groups of musicians and I have to change these strings about every week. (I like their grinding, full and lively tone while they are fresh.) On occasion I get a bad set or even a somewhat dull set but it still seems worth it because the tone of those rotosounds while they are fresh can't be beat for my style of playing and what I am playing.
After nearly a year of using ground-wounds and half-flats, I've switched to DR lo-riders. I really love the tone of DR's. A ground-wound version would be some fun to try.

I just started using Sadowsky stainless steel (45-105)rounds on my fours and Im thinking of using them on my G&L.
They came on my Valenti Jazz and I absolutely loved them so I decided to try them on my Black Eagle (33.5" scale passive jazz) and they're killer on that bass too.
I want to try a set of 45-135/130 on my G&L which is currently strung with ken smith strings
spit: ) but if those dont work Im gonna try the Warwick Black label strings I had on them about a year ago which I remember liking best for it. Very even tone and good feel across all the strings.
On my 5 string Tacoma Im using D'Addario XL's and they are just what the doctor ordered. Bright enough without all that excessive noise you get from the bronze strings normally strung onto acoustics. Really warm and full sounding too. Im thinking of trying a set of classical guitar style nylon strings though.

Nickel Roundwounds
Lately I have been using GHS Boomers (45-65-85-105) on my MusicMan StingRay (ash/maple).. I know they aren't the best but I don't seem to break them and they stay fairly bright for me.
I like ErnieBall Hybrids but I always seem to break them. I liked Sunbeams, they were really growly, but didnt retain any brightness for me.. still may end up going back to them..
Gonna try me some D'Addario SlowWounds this week (if my local store gets them in)...

TI Jazz Flatwounds. Very easy on the fingers and no pain after a 5 hour gig. Sound pretty good too.
DR Hi-Beams (.40-.95 I think) on my P 
Some fatter Hi-Beams (45-105) on my MIA Jazz
... and... some Hybrid Slinkies on my ESP
... You just cant beat the hand wound feel of the hi-beams

I have no loyalties as of yet, but I used:
Ernie Ball Bass Slinky (5 months) -- Good for the price! Loved 'em
Ernie Ball Flats Group III (5 months) -- Nice thump, but you can't play chili peppers funk so they had to go
Rotosound 66s (3 months) -- Ehhhhh, not as nice in my opinion as the ernies or d'addarios
D'addario XLs 45-100 (October-Now) -- I love these things! Fantastic strings, I can see what all the hype was about.
I've got a set of Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Rounds on my bed right now, gonna suit up my bass with 'em after I sling in some new electronics in about a week and a half.

I use Stainless Steel Ernie Ball Regular Slinky on my 4-String Ibanez, and Nickel-Plated 5-String Slinkys on my 5-String Yamaha. I love the tone I get from 'em.
i was a strong indorsor of DR strings but i know strongly recommend Elixir strings...preferably nanoweb...on my warwick thumb bolt on 4 string bass..last long..great tone..and a wonderful feel to your hands...wont leave your hands lookin like someone stappled the tips of your fingers

Tomastick-Infeld strings rule! I Use thr Powerbass strings for my 6 string, they are lovely and smooth out of the pack, and stay bright for ages, especially on the low 'b'. Expensive though!!!
I'm really liking the DR Fat-Beams on my MIA P-Bass w/Maple fret board. Nice and clanky when I want it, and thumpy when I roll off the treble. I have Yamaha stainless on my BB1500A and they're pretty close to the DRs. Hi-Beams on the Thumb sound great w/lots O' growl.
D'addario slow wounds thump hard and are nice on the fingers. I had the 105 guage and they were a bit stiff. I need the next lighter set and I'll be set for a while.
