I swap between Pressures (GHS) and Rounds (Sunbeams) on my P, though I mostly prefer the Pressures.

I think pressures need more love.

D'Addario EXL165 Nickel Roundwound (45-105) on my Jackson Kelly Bird. I tried a set of Elixir nickel (45-105) but the E just sounded dead, they felt great on my fingers though.

My geddy jazz came with fenders but they lost their tone really quick. Wasn't a fan. Now, I'm trying DR Marcus miller fat beams. I like them but not sure they are perfect for me, yet. Might try the hi-beams next.

On my ibanez sdgr1000e, I love the dean markley blue steels. Very bright, aggressive strings for a very aggressive bass. Just love the growl and snarl I get from them.

I used rotosound swings way back in the day but found they broke too often. Anyone else ever have that issue with them?

I prefer roundwounds, and I don't like stainless steel strings for guitar (I'm primarily a guitar player who also plays bass), but I love them on bass.

La'Bella Deep Talkin Rounds 44-110 on my 2012 AmStd Precision and GHS Precision Flats 45-100 on my Squier James Johnston Jazz. The GHS are PERFECT for this jazz and I will NEVER take them off. The LaBella I tried on Jason from BSO's recommendation for an old school type roundwound and they have pretty much converted me from flats on my P.

As a working pro, I have found the Elixir strings will last 4 to 6 months where I can kill the tone on bare strings in a weekend. They have great tone and worth every penny of you have acidic sweaty hands. They also have stainless and and bronze as well. I use them on all of my instruments, basses and guitars.
