Skip the threads you are no longer interested in and move on. Don’t use the home page as your only source for thread topics. There are many more and believe it or not there are many new topics. You just have to go beyond the home page.

besides, some topics are worth revisiting and if not, there are many other topics to feel even into.

The most tiresome topic are the ones that complain that a topic was already mentioned topic . Let it go and move on. It’s the nature of any forum. Don’t rely on just the home page.

When I got my Private Pilot's License in 1995, spin recovery proficiency was not required. But I didn't care....I asked my instructor to give me that training anyway, and I'm glad I did.

Back on topic: tone is in the fingers. No it isn't. Yes it is. No it isn't.

AWESOME!! I earned my Naval Aviator wings in '93 and yes...they MADE us learn spin recovery and it WAS part of our checkride. GA pilots need to learn the same.

And no...tone is NOT in the fingers. Or maybe it is. Nah its not. Well...ummmm...

The best bass for metal debate is my favorite. And it is something I always ponder for myself. I don't play metal, but if I did, what would I play? I've never liked metal...until lately - when I find myself actually getting into metal, even extreme stuff like black metal and death metal. (Go big or go home right? Lol.) But I'm a nerdy 40 year old financial services employee. I'm tall and part Norwegian, I guess, but I don't intend to wear corpse paint. What would I play if I played metal? Something that sounds evil but looks socially acceptable...? A black P-bass I guess.

(Note: I'll probably never play metal and this is not a serious question nor do I expect responses. Sorry to threadjack.)
