The mooer seems to have a bit of volume suck, which I hate.
A nicer phaser may still have that issue, modulation tends to cut or boost volume at least a bit IME.
Anyways check out some of the Make Sounds Loudly Pedals phasers, he clones a bunch of classic circuits and has a kick ass custom "18 stage phaser" as well:

Right now there is just has a dual phaser and weird custom phaser up. The 75$ one looks sweet, I have a similar one but it has 5 knobs and only 1 switch. It also takes EXP pedals though which can be fun, works a bit glitchily on mine but can do some interesting stuff. Not sure if it actually has 18 stages but that is what some old listings say, has an incredibly thick and versatile tone. Also can do some tremolo stuff at some settings thanks to the switch.
