Thanks for the info. the Apple Devices App is a new one, so I'm sure I'll end up doing that. I already pay for online storage at Dropbox, so I have no desire to pay Apple more and spread my files over yet another online site. It should be as simple as connecting a cable and navigating to the DCIM directory, then selecting files....but no, evidently it takes yet another app. I think I managed it once via iTunes, which Apple seems to be trying to abandon.You haven't learned yet.
