What scale do I need to use?

Hey all. I've got a Musicman Stingray Classic 5. What I'm wondering is what scale strings do I need to use for it? The strings run through the body, and then through the neck. I've been using Regular Slinky, and those are made to fit any Musicman, but I've come to find that if I wanna use any other type of strings, they aren't quite long enough. I'm thinking that super long scale would work, but I just want to make sure. Any input is helpful.

I've used long scale DR and Fodera with no problems at all. I think the difference between where the ball end starts and the top of the bridge is only a couple inches at best. You'll still have plenty of string to wind.
