I'm surprised that certain posters are advocating some sort of 'parenting test' because, if their posting style and worldview is anything to go by, they would be the first to get a big fat NOPE.

I don't think anyone is objectifying women. At least I'm not.
I've just observed in my experience that it seems that having a carpet is stigmatized, although some have not gotten that impression. In any case, I'm all about liberty.

Hands down- farting. Be it in public or in the home, I wish I could fart whenever I want without fear of social dissent or revulsion.

I think the objectification of women came about, no from the discussion about pubic hair, but the posters who wanted groping and sexual harassment to be socially acceptable.

There was only one poster who went as far as groping.
For the "staring at breasts" comment, I was working on the assumption that the OP was asking "what isn't OK in this world but you wish was OK?" So, my comment was intended as "living in a parallel world in which staring at boobies was a completely harmless and OK thing to do"
Which, on re-reading, isn't what was being asked. Please accept my apologies.
The guy whose two posts, earlier, could be summarised as "I want to stare at boobs, and if women didn't want me to they wouldn't dress so that I could see them" was making a good stab at it.

The Puritanical streak in the USA has a lot to do with our teen pregnancy problems.
Relax, the USA didn't invent this problem and it isn't exclusive to the US. I like to blame the catholic church, the Calvinists, the Presbyterians and Henry VIII depending on my mood.
Nudity, or hyper-sexualising the human form, is something that I cannot get my head around. Africans apparently think Westerners have a big mother problem because we are obsessed with breasts. Fancy that.
Conversely, most naturists I've met have been the last people I would ever want to see naked.

Our general obsession in the USA with the idea that sex and nudity are "sinful" have a lot to do with the poor sex ed, and the poor sex ed has a lot to do with the unprotected screwin'.
I know one "place" where nudity isn't stigmatized.

I think it may be gaining traction. There are a lot of swingers in my local area.
We've got one sanctioned nude beach left in SoCal.
As in, like, neighbors in a neighborhood where that's how it goes down? Or a total stranger with a total strange kid acting up out in public?
I wouldn't even go as far as neighbor unless I was really close with them. More like cousins/nephews/etc. Also, like another user posted, if a stranger's kid was acting like an assclown, a simple reminder with a stern voice might put them back in place.
