I was in line at a ride in Disney World one and some old dude, but younger than me, started yelling at kids to shut up and quit running around. Really, I mean this IS Disney World.. You have to expect there will be a few excited kids around. I told the young fellow that he was out of line, and that this was the kids turf. He began to argue but before he could finish we hear "EXCUSE ME SIR! You need to come with us." Two Gerry large plain clothes security personnel herd the guy and "informed him that his Day Pass had just expired.

Two lesbians kissed in the food court at the mall today (we were at the next table), and it made me happy that they felt comfortable enough to do that. And remember, I live in Oklahoma.
Why can't I just drink my soup straight out of the bowl in a restaurant like I do at home.......

Austin is pretty much where homosexuals in Texas go to live their life freely. Everybody gets along here.
I took a trip at Christmas to visit family. Went through more conservative areas of the country and spent time with more conservative people. Yes, some consider it morally wrong, but most don't really have a problem with it as part of society either, as long as people keep it at home like the straights do. Not at all meaning "stay in the closet", just meaning keep overt sexuality in private places like the home. These people don't want to see straights pawing all over each other or "dry humping" in public either.
It seemed to be pretty much a "to each their own, just don't throw it in my face" thing. The problems start when folks on either side start pushing their lifestyle on others.
Here where I live, let your freak flags fly, man. Nobody cares.

This is about right for most of the people I saw when I was in Pigeon Forge.
Probably the most solidly redneck thing I've read today.
Anyway... taboos. I would like to change 'having bad teeth'. By 'bad teeth', I don't mean unhealthy, dangerous cavity-stuffed teeth. I mean slightly crooked less-than-platinum-white teeth. To me it seems like the last dregs of the eugenic movement telling me how I should tend to my mouth. Good dental hygene does not equate to blinding white teeth; this is a myth concocted and propagated by idiots.
The kicker? Teeth are not even white, naturally. You are not born with platinum teeth. They are cream by default, to varying degrees.
Donald Sutherland helps make The Eagle just that bit worse with his lisped delivery and brilliantly white, straight teeth. I never knew the Romans had veneers. Donald cannot even speak properly in the film, adding a husked 's' sound, but he values his Holywood smile over proper diction... and he is one of the outlaw bad guys of yore? I don't get it. At all.
