What the...Darkglass Vintage Microtubes?!?!

While I am not sure I agree with the reasoning of one pedal being more of a certain thing than the other, I do agree with your advice! :D - But mainly because of the Vintage being capable of lower gain settings, you can run the B3K into it without (necessarily) adding more saturation, but using the Vintage more as a tone and character shaping tool!

I haven't done much experimenting on that area yet because all my prototypes are somewhere else for upcoming reviews and samples, but I did like both options, just have fun experimenting with it and let us know which one you prefer!

Can't wait for you guys to receive your pedals!

Sorry to rub it in but mines here!!! I chased the mailman truck down in my apt complex to get it quicker! Haha

Now I have to rework my board but this thing sounds killer!!! I'm thinking I may take my VT back. That's still going to have to go through some testing and time but I can't believe how much push the level knob provides!! This pedal can get LOUD. The tones I've pushed out of it just in the last 15 min are awesome. I mean awesome. It does what it says, it sounds like some vintage tubes getting pushed, I could dial that in in seconds. I still have to play with it some more and I have practice tonight so I'll try to put up more opinions and thoughts about this pedal later tonight. So far, just in 15 min of playing, this thing is suuuuwweeeeetttt!!! More to come! Happy :bassist:

Where do you have your VT now on your board? Do you have the Vintage in the same or another position? (hard to see what goes to what on your pic) And...does it replace or compliment the VT?

When I first heard about the Vintage the first thing I thought of was goodbye VT...wonder if I'm right....

Our postwoman just came back, 4:10 local time, and apologized for forgetting to leave my package when she delivered the mail this morning. I'm at work, so it's not like I could have been checking it out yet, but I was starting to fear it would spend the night at the post office. I think I will be annoying my family tonight :-)

I think she did it on purpose to give you a heart attack :) mine used to do it until I started tipping him.
