A while since I have looked forward to a new piece of gear and all the comments make that more the case every day.

I felt the same exact way when I was waiting for the vintage and the B7K. Like a kid on Christmas anxious. Between darkglass keeping us so well informed and where I purchased mine from, bassefx, they were all very helpful and professional. It still sucks waiting but very good things come to those who wait! In this case anyway haha. I'm FULLY enjoying my B7K and the flavor on this pedal damn awesome. Darkglass found a way to take the sound that comes out of bass, keep it true to that tone and amplify it to greater degree that makes it sing in a way it was meant to. Very very happy with their products.

@ Epitaph04 thanks for the comparable B3K and VMT clips. Many OD pedals turn fuzzy when hit with the 18v active pre amps. Both these pedals sound great. Now comes the torment of picking which one to save up for. Thanks again.

Ok I'm very close to ordering one. I just want to check a few things one more time:
I need it as an always on pedal to add "on the verge of breakup".
Does it fatten up the tone?
Does it warm up the tone?
Does it add vintage character?
Does it do all that to solid state amps (in my case, GK 700RB II)?
