What the H*** does 'Carrots' stand for

We need a "Carrots" pedal. Make it a clean boost to keep it cheap and simple and useful for everyone. Small MXR style or micro case, one knob "Less" and "More", orange and green carrot label, Talkbass label above the knob, maybe CARROTS in big letters at the bottom. Money goes between the pedal makers, supporting Talkbass and/or charity. I'd buy one for sure.

I like the idea, but given the reason behind "carrots", I think it should be a synth pedal with one knob, that makes your bass sound more or less like a trombone.

There's a Tool song that sounds (to my UK based ears) like Maynard is saying "like a carrot doll" but he's actually saying "like I care at all."

I got up potato clock to orange something and didn't carrot doll.

So I think it means don't care at all.

Given the weird way this forum thinks that there's a Tool song called "Pupoopie" (push it).

Well, I think there actually is some kind of a story behind it from the early days of TB. Before my time, though.

I think someone here told me that John Turner startes it. People kept making these ridiculous polls either about nothing or 'best bass for metal' kind of stuff, so John started going around and adding 'carrots' as an option.

^THIS^ But, be aware that there is a semi-secret, underground Carrot Party lurking on TB, and we.. I mean they.. always vote the straight Carrot Party ticket. So.. no "Carrot" option on your poll? No vote from... them...
