What The $@#% is that smell?????

Oh hell, I dated a woman years ago whose feet smelled that bad. I always knew when she was planning on staying over because she'd take her shoes and socks off and throw them across the living room to give her feet time to air out before we went to the bedroom.

Interesting, the girl that stunk up the bathroom at our gig was slim and very nice looking. I'd go as far as to say she was probably the hottest girl in the bar and there were quite a few runner-ups. Do pretty girls make bathrooms smell worse than average looking girls? :hiding:
Funny, I've always been told their stuff didn't stink. All the good looking girls sure act like it....

Its a combo of pooh and feminine hygeine products. Or 'the death smell' as I refer to it, though only in this one instance.

If Rocks' theory has any weight, you, Matticus, with your showpiece fiancee (wife?) would know :hiding:

You've another thing coming your way, buddy ;)

Not to sound sexist, but there was a thread in OT a while back where first hand examples were provided of how, even though men get the shorter end of the stick for hygiene, it's the fairer sex which is obviously the one lacking in toilet etiquette and hygiene.

Maybe it wasn't a gal?

I played a gig once where I got sick on some nasty nachos that I ate before the gig. In the middle of the 2nd set, I couldn't hold it anymore and had to race to the bathroom mid-song. The men's room was occupied, so I went into the ladies room and just let out some steamers that made the paint peel. I heard some girls banging on the door saying, "Hey, it's the ladies room!". My reply was "It's here or the hallway, sorry ladies". I after cleaning up I got back on stage, but my condolences to anyone who had to enter in after me.

I am laughing so hard my eyes are tearing up! I have to drink my coffee with both hands because I am shaking so much with laughter!!!! Luckily I just emptied my bladder or I would be sitting in a puddle!!! You guys kill me!!!

So you stunk the place up and then got back under the spotlights? I'm not sure I could have kept a straight face the rest of the gig.

Well, not to suck all the fun out of the room but I was thinking she might have a disease like Crohn's, Colitis, or some IBS. If she smells that bad, believe me...she knows. Often times eating too much sugar, alcohol, or junk food will make you smell...but if it was really that bad, I'd bet on some IBD.

BTW, this whole thread is freakin' hilarious!

You Had to ask !!!!

I lived above a bar in college - when I sat on the pot upstairs, I could hear everything going on downstairs in the women's room. The owner was cheap and didn't consider toilet paper a necessary expense. I recall conversations like:

"Can I borrow some of your toilet paper"
"There's none here - you don't have anything either?"
"no."
"..."
"..."
"Well, I guess I'm dry."
"Yeah, me too."

As you would expect, I didn't pursue any one-night-stands from bars after that living in that apartment.

My daughter owns a coffee shop which, of course, provides a restroom for the customers. She says that by far, the worst messes in the room are created by female patrons.

Worst ever was an elderly lady who was assisted by her family in using the facility. It's understandable that the woman may have had some "control" issues, but the fact that her family rushed her out of there, didn't help clean up, nor notify the proprietor there might be a toxic mess inside... It took my daughter about an hour, with help, to get that place inhabitable again, after someone else discovered it.
