Wow. So many things in this thread rang true about the band I just left.

Agreed. This dude doesn't even know how to be a good drunk.
OP, I think you know what you eventually have to do. If the other folks in the band are willing to put up with it, they're not all that serious about the project either.
Consider this; if things continue as is(the drummer looks the other/enables, the others apathetic)at some point there will be a hellish gig, confrontations with the booker/bar owner or even a patron, or some other train wreck. Bad news will travel fast to some of the other places you play, and your own rep may be tarnished in a 'guilt by association' manner. When(not if)you move on to another band, hopefully that won't follow you, but anything is possible.

Sure I'd play with a guy that gets roaring drunk at a gig, has poor control over his sound, pisses off the bar owner, annoys the audience and sabotages others on stage.
