What to do with Battery Slot? (Going from Active to Passive)

I keep a backup battery in there. You never know when you’ll need one for a pedal, stud finder, or to stop a persistent smoke detector.

You could use the box route to contain some switch wiring if it is in a good location to be drilled through/not in your way on the front.

Custom pick holder?

Awkward weed container?

The world is your oyster!

After 2 years, I'm taking EMGs out of my Jackson, I'm replacing them with DiMarzios, but what do I do with my empty battery slot?
I'm still gonna do 4 pots and switch like a Ric. I thought of using it to run a stereo jack? Maybe a comp or boost circuit I can put under the pickguard.

Any ideas?
Are you also removing your active EQ?
