What type of patch cables is everyone using for their pedals?

I got one of those DIY kits off Amazon that let's me make cables to the length I need. I solder every connection so the cables are reliable. I can make the cables as long or as short as I need.

The ones I got were about $30 and had solid right angle connectors, not the cheapo flat ones. I think $10-20 is the bottom of the market for a multi-cable kit.

I make my own. Canare GS-6 cable and Switchcraft 228 flat jacks.

I started using George L's because I knew I would be chopping and changing my board a lot and didn't want to waste so much time soldering, and wanted to be able to use patch cables exactly the right length and cut and fit them quickly and easily.

My board has been unchanged for about 3 years now, it's still wired with the George L's cables I hastily made up 3 years ago, I've still had no failures, it's done a couple of hundred gigs.

For the sake of balance: I haven't used Lava cables but I imagine their solution is just as good.

I use custom-length, soldered Lava patch cables (I believe they're of the Mini ELC variety). I have one random DiMarzio patch cable mixed in there, too. That's currently where I'm at.

Lava Solderless user here. I had to spend some time learning how to make them to length so they wouldn't crap out on me. My pedalboard is pretty consistent, so the cables really don't move around (although I build them to withstand multiple bends/twists).

I used the cheapest ones i found with decent quality, Cordials. Worked fine.
When it got tight on the board, i bought 4 jacks and 1 meter of George L.'s to
gain some space. These are amazing. I had it down perfectly, then changed the layout again and one cable was too short now. So i just took it apart and made me a new one.
Whenever i need a new cable now i'll just order 2 George L. jacks.

making your own is the best and cheapest way. Can be any length you want. Really can't believe some spend as much as $30 per 6" cable.

I get some top quality wire then use the pancake style plugs.

I use the cheapo multi colored ones mixed with a few longer yorkvilles and some random cheapo pancakes. I've never had any problems.

Snagged some GLS pancake style cables from Orange County Speaker Repair. After shipping and taxes it came out to be around $6.50 CDN per cable. So far so good!

I'm using Lava solderless CX plugs with Gepco XB20UB on the board and Gepco GLC20 outside of it. I love Gepco cable.

I dig the Lava plugs but I don't dig the super thin-walled designer patch cable, so I think the CX plugs are the greatest thing ever.

Anyone have experience with the Sinasoid Sliver cables? Currently using the EBS Flats and I have no real complaints (though one did short on me), but the Sinasoids look intriguing.

I use the EBS flat cables, they're amazing for crowded boards, and even though they feel pretty flimsy I've only had one go bust in the last two years. And they're dirt cheap.
