It was either Call me up in Dreamland or These dreams of You from the Moondance album. I loved all of the bass parts that John Klingberg played on that album.
No More- Neil Young. one of 10 I Had to learn for an audition . The first song I learned correctly all the way through.
smoke on the water - in the wrong key of course. because that's how 14 year old me rolled back in the day. kapow!

Another One Bites the Dust.
It was Christmas Eve in the early eighties and I opened a shiny new bass ordered from the Sears catalog. I proceed to play this iconic bass line for at least 2 hours. My father finally comes down stairs and says "Don't you know any other songs?". I'm like, "No, not really."
