What was your first bass guitar?

A baby blue Hagstrom II, modded to have a Gibson bridge p/u in between the standard two. Sold it after I got my P bass in 1970.....Fred Dudek Where are ya buddy I'll buy it back at what ever price you want.don't make me beg!.

Late 70's Tokai EB3 copy, $60 off some guy down the street from my apartment. Shortscale with flats that I never changed. Traded it along with an old Peavey Mark IV and a homebrew 1x12/1x15 cabinet for a damaged Fender Twin guitar amp in 1993 - still have the Twin...

A Crown, bought in '65 for $95.00. Looked weird, a Japanese import of some kind, and I've never seen one since. I traded it for a Hagstrom II along with my paper-route bike in '66.

mine is an Indiana Starter kit...... $250...... came with an amp, cord, strap, book and dvd, a tuner, and four bass pics.......... its pretty much a fender precision knock off........... looks the exact same except it says "INDIANA" on the head. got it when i was 12. 14 now.

A new Ibanez GSR200 in jewel blue some six years ago for 210$.

I am now nearly 21, and I still own that bass, but it is defretted.
I still play it currently, as I am trying to sell my 5- and 6-string basses to fund another bass.

This Ibanez Roadster (not to be confused with the RoadStar) was my first bass.

My first was a cheap Japanese bass, I think it was branded as Crestwood. I got it used with paper route money in 1967 when I was 12. I wish I'd kept it for sentimental reasons, it was a terrible bass really. My first real bass was a Gibson EB0 I bought used in 1970. I don't have that one either....
