A "Rhythmline" Fender Telecaster Bass copy, short scale, was light yellow, and made of plywood. Anyone got one!?
My first bass was a Hondo Fame Series 830 p-bass copy. It had the sweetest quilted burst finish. I miss that bass...

The pickup didn't sound that good, so I dropped some EMG PJs in it. I don't know where it is right now - I sold it to some kid back in high school and haven't talked to him since.

There's a black one of these sitting in a broken case in my high school band room! With dead pickups.... :scowl:
Mine was an HD1200 "Stage Guitars" PJ four string. It was alot like a Fender except for the headstock. That bass was better than the Cimar (by Ibanez) that replaced it. :scowl:
My first was an Ibanez EDB600. I lied about my age to get a job the summer of '98 and saved my pennies for it. I quickly learned it was not the right bass for me and traded up to a Jazz Bass a few months later.

First was a Lotus Jazz copy when I was 13, followed by an Ibanez Musician at, then on to a Peavey T-40 when they first came out when I was 16...
A $300 Traben Array was my 1st bass and i have and will hold on to it for quite somtime. Some fenders don't even come close to beating this. My only regret is not getting the 5 string version.

It was actually pretty nice. my next bass was a Peavey Patriot with a maple neck and single humbucker, I loved that bass.
First 5-String was a Samick Artist Series P/J (I put EMG's in it and still use it sometimes, it plays pretty decent and has a punchy tone my Ibanez basses don't)

A 78 Fender Mustang! I'm guessing that it's worth at least $800.00 now. I believe I traded it for a Bassballs pedal because I already had my new bass, an Ovation Magnum!

Schecter C-4 Elite. Still one of my best-playing basses, light and balances perfectly. Great for the 'modern active' sound, which doesn't work for most of my current projects; but a fantastic bass regardless.
