DOD FX-69 Grunge yo. Sounded horrible... I learned to desolder by taking every component off of the board. I was 13. I stand by the notion that pedal in question sounds better now..... well at least I learned the chops to disassemble a PCB

A Boss DS2 Turbo distortion pedal about 10 years ago.

I remember really liking it at the time and being a bit disappointed when I traded it for an ODB-3.

Zoom 706B, bought it new about 8-9 years ago. Still have it as well.

Gave it a spin the other week and was quite impressed at how you could layer effects on top of each other (chorus into fuzz into wah). I remember trying my hardest to get a decent version of Anaesthesia (sp?) out of it.

Of course, it doesn't stand up to the more boutique stuff but I'll probably keep it for the vast noise making possibilities it holds.

Yeah, same here - Turbo Distortion about 19 years ago....damn I'm old...

Rocked MANY Iron Maiden and Metallica tunes through that thing with my BC Rich Bich back in the day...!!!!!

I was a late bloomer to using effects but my first two were 2 years ago from a supermarket chain that were selling them for $29.95 a piece.
I picked up a Delay and a Distortion,
I believe they are re badged Daphon branded pedals.

My first was a 105Q Dunlop bass wah.
Go it in '98, and it's the ONLY pedal that has never left my board.
This thing is the most reliable piece of gear I own.
