BS in International Business
Decided again pursuing my JD and MS in Economics to get a job. I question that move ALL the time.
Hoping to start soon on my MS program for International Transportation Management.

Music and all the parties that came with it, it was pretty surreal at the time but I did learn a bit.
Know what else is funny? I knew Todd Barry a little (we were acquainted) in college. He was a drummer! (He was in a couple different bands that my band shared bills with.) Talk about glass houses.Does he?
Todd Barry does an awesome geologist bit in his stand up. He starts by saying that the "reservoir tip" on a condom is a grandiose term for a tiny bubble of material, sarcastically stating "Ooh, we need a reservoir. We don't want to contaminate the groundwater!"
When the audience laughs, he says "Oh, looks like we have some geologists in the audience!" Kills me every time!
No, Jethro, I'm just continually mystified by the seeming pointlessness of personal questions people ask here.
"Uh, OK...you going somewhere with this?"
"Um. No."
I also intended a humorous allusion to the blank indifference with which the world regards Art degrees, but that predictably went over your head, too.

Now that you mention it, he DID play drums in some comedy show a while back. I love his standup. The only other comic who might rival his monotone is Steven Wright,
I think about that one often, considering the six years spent in college, and long list of certifications that followed. We may know a thing or two about working inside, but envy many skilled workers for their hourly rate, or 'paid' overtime.
Double majored in Marketing and Management
The one thing it taught me us that unless you go get your MBA, having a basic business degree aint worth a whole heck of a lot. Unless you want to work Sales or Customer Service your whole life. I currently do both with my job. Not a bad gig, but not want I want to be doing in 10, 5 or even 3 more years.
The people I sell to are often only high school educated (or even drop outs) and some make much more than I do. But then again, they work insane hours and work in a very physically grueling environment. I couldn't do that kind of work.
I figure I'll get another year or two of full-time experience under my belt and head back for my MBA.
