It's rude, insulting, and inaccurate. I was born in the 1950's and it was made very clear to us that you did NOT ever call anyone ********, as it was a real insult. Somehow this term has crept back into common language (usually among young people) as a synonym for "acting foolish", "bad idea", or some similar sentiment. But there seems to be no consideration for the impact that this term can have on cognitively challenged or disabled people. Using the word is normally in horrendously bad taste.
Blah blah blah and yadda yadda yadda.
If you have to use those words, work on a more interesting vocabulary![]()
