What would you do? Fender vs MM

I would pick the bass that I like to play. I'm not a big fan MM, nor the Marcus Miller. I'd sell the MM and buy the Fender that I wanted.

Go for which ever one you’ll play more. It’s a good trade if you’re happier in the end. I recently traded and American Standard Jazz for a Jack Casady 20th anniversary straight up. I technically lost in the trade. But, I consider it a win because I just didn’t bond with that particular jazz. And I LOVE the JC.

I have three mentioned basses, Squier VM is very good bass, but Marcus is the beast of it own, very nice bass, custom quality, EBMM is for me also nice bass, but if you don't digg it, change for a Marcus, you wont be disssapointed .

2 very different beasts. Keep the MM, I love mine, and I agree with one of the answers above, try and get the Miller Jazz Bass as well, cover some spectrum with those two

Thanks so much everybody for every word!! Many different opinions made me think more about it. You really helped me!

Nope, I would not trade a StingRay for a Marcus Jazz. I dont like active Fenders, and the looks of the Marcus does not appeal to me.

I would sell the Squier and put the $ toward a used US Jazz Bass. Be patient.

Now im thinking about keep the StingRay and wait for money and buy an american jazz bass.

I think i like the StingRay and thats a bass i want to keep, i would love the Marcus Miller JB too, but the ray have a killing sound that i want to keep in my arsenal, so, in the future ill manage to buy an american jazz bass.
