Whatcha watching?

I just saw The Thing (1951) for about the 5 time in my 71 years of age.

I love black and white sci-fi flicks.

I get HBO Gomaxnow every now and then for a month when they get new movies I wanna see. My month is almost over and all I've done is watch The Wire again for the 17th time. The Wire is so good.
Yeah it is. One of my faves.

I watched the Kingdom tonight. I enjoyed it though I did find it very sad in ways.

Also I think I should watch Bomb x City as mentioned upthread...

Aww yeah, today was a treat for me. A long time (40+ years) friend of mine came over and we watched Convoy.
Watching that movie was just like watching it for the first time. Still dig it.

Since it was not a hit and thus cheap to buy, it had been shown in Soviet Union around 1980 and of course created a madness. I remember watching it in a theater, like, 3 times or maybe more at age 16.
There were another American movies like this, let me try to remember:
The Stunt Man
Capricorn One
Hangar 18
Stunts
3 Days Of The Condor
Fun with Dick and Jane

I saw Capricorn One at the drive in when I was a kid. I was in the front seat with my popcorn while my folks were in the backseat making my sister. Lol.

The Stunt Man, wow! I remember seeing that in the theater and thinking it was really good and underrated. I should watch it again to see if I still feel that way.

Oh yeah, that movie was rad. My pop and I watched it. There was a scene where one of the guys ate a snake I think it was. I remember asking my pop if I could catch a snake in our back yard and eat it too. A firm nope followed.

Netflix just forced me to confirm my PS4 as my home streaming location. So no more sharing with my 73-year-old father who watches Netflix when he remembers it exists every few months. Buh-bye. I should have left when they took Star Trek away. Now I'm done.
