Last night I watched the NRL Grand Final between Brisbane and Penrith

It was a great match and it was fitting as well because the 2023 has been one of the best in living memory.

I fell asleep twice trying to get through it, including the conclusion. Thanks to Wikipedia, I learned how it ended. I'm glad I slept.
Willem Dafoe made it worth watching, but wow did it drag on and on.

That's how it felt to me too. I kept trying to watch hoping something was going to change or a twist in the story somehow. Maybe somehow Jasmine would hear him or get involved, or perhaps #3 would come back online. Nope.

I watched "Trick 'R Treat" for the first time last Halloween season, and I was impressed.

I just finished Extrapolations on Apple. It's about the possible global ramifications of climate change going forward about 50 years. Very eye-opening, very depressing. Many big-name actors are involved but sometimes things are just very awkward. The "ending" was a very unsatisfying (to me) cliffhanger.

But it might be worth a try.
