Watched the film Dune (2021)...for the third time LOL. Originally bought it from Prime, watched it twice. However, the audio was waaay too dynamic. Had to ride the frakkin' volume control thru the whole movie, which pulled me right out of it. Both viewings sucked (really enjoyed the visuals, though).

It recently came out on our cable service (Spectrum). Gave it a shot and the audio was balanced and perfect! Yay! Didn't control volume even once. Happy happy joy joy.

Looks like Dune 2 is coming out 01 Mar this year.

Agreed. Two of my favs. Despite the ending, thoroughly enjoyed The Expanse. Not sure why The Peripheral was canc'd. At least I still have The Boys.

Wife and I'd been drinking this past Friday and she made me find the film "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band". She was in love with Peter Frampton back in the day and really enjoyed seeing the movie again. I didn't like it back in the day, but fortunately the drinks made it tolerable for me in a 'fun reflection of days gone by' kinda way.

I loved the movie Memphis Belle when I was a kid. I watched it recently and it holds up. Also loved Band of Brothers. As such I would love to see Masters of the Air but unfortunately I don't have a Paramount Plus account...

But I can add Lancaster to my list, so yay!

Masters of the Air is on Apple TV. Currently 3 month free offers though both Best Buy and Target online.

For WWII air combat films, the Czech film Dark Blue World (Tmavomodrý svět) is well worth finding.

I knew it was on something I don't subscribe to...but I probably should have an Apple TV account by now anyhow.

Liked the first two season, but somehow lost rack of the third season which was released in Dec 2022 (probably because HBO is not one of our regular streaming services). Anyway, we're going back and rewatching the whole thing.

An Angel for Satan.
It's an old Italian black and white movie. They classify it as a horror movie, but it's not guts and gore. I watched it in the dark which I believe made it more creepy. I wasn't scared at any point, but I was freaked out a few times.
It's worth a look if you want to get a feel for horror movies from the 60's.
