If I start watching True Detective, do I need start with season 1?

I just can't shake the 'Twin Peaks' vibe.

This is a good show. Despite having lived in the states for 30+ years I still have a little trouble with the forced 1940s banter that's ubiquitous in these shows (Band of Brothers/The Pacific), but it's totally watchable.

Criminal Record on Apple TV+ is very much worth my time.

I think it's worthwile watching season 1 and then 4, but it's not necessary.

I didn't finish season 2. Season 3 isn't as good as the first, but I think it's hugely underrated.

Fortitude was great!

I knew it was great when I was able to watch multiple episodes in a row without falling asleep. Most shows or movies these days I fall asleep at some point. Never once fell asleep during any episode of Fortitude.

Agreed, when the story revolves around the supernatural and is written well enough anyone reading it can visualize the progression of the story, then yes, supernatural tales can be worthwhile reading. Like film, if I can suspend disbelief then I’m in, but if it’s used as gap filler, not so much.

Prime video put their first commercial up during my nightly Frasier viewing last night. They said it was coming in February. Yesterday was not February. I paid them their extra $3 per month for commercial free. I'm not happy about it, but it's still better than netflix.

I canceled my Prime account before their last price hike. I just couldn't get on board with the recurring price increases without an improvement in the product.

"The Greatest Night In Pop" on Netflix. It covers the creation of "We Are The World" with lots of footage from the actual session. Lots of great nostalgia with this one, and it's amazing that they managed to get it done in one night.

I love B-17s and had a flight in Sentimental Journey a few years ago ....Amazing!!!

About to watch the Lancaster movie on Netflix....went for a flight in our Lanc VeRA too.
