I'm good at deciphering complicated story lines and figuring out what's going on when it's not immediately apparent, but I hate this movie. It's beyond needlessly convoluted.

It was very good. I really like the first three, but the third was the weakest. They wisely chose to set this one farther in the future.

My wife and I watched the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare last week. It was quite good - very much has Inglorious Basterds vibes.

I put on the first episode of Invincible and ended up watching most of the first season. It's a very good show. It looks like a 90s cartoon but they talk like real people. It's like The Boys but more superhero stuff and less interpersonal drama.

With both "The Boys" and "Invincible", they became more about ultra-violence for its own sake, at the expense of a story line. I watched all of season 1 of "Invincible" and thought it went downhill. We enjoyed seasons 1 & 2 of "The Boys" but stopped watching after the first episode of season 3 for the reason I mentioned. There's not a lack of content to watch out there, so I don't miss them.

I agree about The Boys, but I like the story in Invincible. The ultra violence is more believable and acceptable in a cartoon. And I like the characters. I wanna see what happens to them. But, like most shows, I'm sure it's gonna start to suck. I'm right at the end of season 1 now but I'm gonna stick with it.

I guess you can call me a Nolan hater, because the only moves he's made that I liked were Memento, Insomnia and Batman Begins. Everything else I've attempted has been incomprehensible nonsense.

Have you seen Oppenheimer? It's really good, but it is a bit confusing until you figure out how the times lines set. Nolan can't seem to resist messing with his audience.
