We've been really enjoying "Hacks". Jean Smart is fully deserving of her Emmy award as the main character, Debra Vance, a long in the tooth comedian who is having trouble moving forward with life, after her 30 year Vegas residency comes to a sudden end.
Great characters, witty and funny.
Highly recommend!

It's not a drastic drop off, but I don't like season 2 so far. The protomatter story line isn't nearly as interesting as the show thinks it is, and when this one started her little war chant I couldn't stop laughing. And the captain is an awful protagonist. Holden. He's not charming or likeable or badass or funny or interesting.

I saw the highlight of the San Diego Padres completing a triple play to win the game against the LA Dodgers and clinch an MLB playoff berth.

No matter how much crap happens off the field/court/diamond/ice/track/pitch/whatever, something will always happen on the field/court/diamond/ice/track/pitch/whatever to remind sports fans why we love sports.

She's been great in a lot of shows lately, especially Hacks and the second season of Fargo.

Speaking of Hacks, I tried to watch the woman who plays Ava's comedy special on HBO. I got maybe 10 minutes into it before turning it off - it was so bad.

Power. Because I see Power book II, III, IV etc and don't want to see a series about laptops. Gotta say I watched the pilot and soon as I saw the pretty girl I not only knew she was a cop, but that she would be revealed in the final scene of the episode. Damn but Hill Street Blues still echoes down the generations.

Still watching, tho.

I've been bingeing "Fear The Walking Dead" because I'm a hardcore TV junkie and it has 8 seasons. That's about 3 more weeks before I have to cop some new TV dope.
It's OK. Madison is badass. Her and I would kill each other, actually she'd kill me and then she'd go to sleep like nothing happened.
I should revisit this thread for dope TV ideas...

Megalopolis is unwatchable. I might be a complete imbecile and maybe I don’t understand it. Or it’s just garbage. If I’m not an idiot, and I don’t think I am, this movie sucks. Don’t watch this. It’s a waste of time. It’s not interesting. It’s not entertaining. It’s awful.

I'm watching the Chiefs-Chargers game. I almost never watch football, but I'm still recovering from covid and need something brainless. I forget who it is that swears by hot peppers and bone broth, but I'm giving that a shot. Trying burn out the mother humper that's making my face hurt from the inside.
