Whatcha watching?

The first one was unnecessarily in the Batman universe. That was a movie about a guy with serious psychological problems and that’s it. Him being Arthur Dent and Thomas Wayne being in the movie were the only ties to the Batman universe and what was the point? What did that add? It could’ve been a modern day Taxi Driver. The Batman connection cheapened that movie.
I'm pretty sure their thinking is that because Joker is primarily known as a Batman villain, they must make the connection to the Batman/DC universe. But I agree...it could have - and should have - been a modern-day "Taxi Driver."

The whole "universe" thing, whether it be DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR or whatever, seems to demand tie-ins.

It got weaker as it went along, and they butchered the final season, but it's probably my favorite sci-fi tv show ever.
You were not kidding about the progressive decline of this show. I'm halfway through season 5 and I'm really struggling to go on. For first time in the I'm not entirely sure what's happening because it's not keeping my attention. If season 6 really is worse, I might just stop here.

Saturday we watched "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" again. That is such a great movie! It really turns the horror genre on its head.

Yesterday I watched "Phantasm". It's been decades since I last saw it, and I didn't remember much about it, to be honest. Now I understand why. It's really bad. So bad it's good, I guess? :D

"Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" is getting good.

"Everybody Still Hates Chris" is short on laughs and short on heart, while the original live-action series has an abundance of both.

I'm a big fan of Chris Rock and the original series, but this new animated series just doesn't have it.
