I remember seeing that at the time, but all I can ever remember about it is the title, and that it wasn't The Langoliers (which is almost certainly for the best).
I wasn't at all a fan of the 90's TV movie of The Stand (loved the book), and I still haven't had an opportunity to see the new version (from a couple of years ago).
Yeah, there's something going on at Prime - I think they have some kind of deal with various independent labels, like Arrow (who have their own subscription channel), because there are frequently movies that those labels have the rights too, and Prime is showing the newly remastered / restored version that the independent labels has just commissioned, and released on 4K UHD Blu-ray.
But talking of absolute junk from the 80's, I recently watched "Monster In The Closet" and was pretty shocked when I realised the precocious little professor kid was baby Paul Walker (of Fast and Furious fame), and the little girl was Fergie (of Black Eyed Peas). I guess if you start at the bottom, the only way is up.
